Becky first became interested in physiotherapy after living with a
disabled family member. Her interests in skiing, mountain biking,
wake boarding and playing the oboe have also given her first hand
knowledge of the many frustrating injuries that can occur.
Becky graduated in 2005 from Northumbria University with a BSc (Hons)
Physiotherapy degree. Since then she has gained experience by working
in a variety of fields, including neurology, musculoskeletal outpatients,
paediatrics and hydrotherapy. She has a special interest in treating
people with neurological conditions for example, stroke, multiple
sclerosis, head injuries, Parkinsons disease and Cerebral palsy.
This follows several years experience working at a specialist nursing
More recently she has provided physiotherapy for many athletes looking
into sports injury prevention and enhancement of performance.
